Mine does it too... just shows they care. This is an awesome trip report. I'm always looking for more information on climbing Rainier as I plan on accomplishing that feat within the next year. I'm interested in your experiences on going without guides. I know you've summited before... did you use guides on either of your previous summits? Then I saw that wonderful view and realize that somewhere you gained an appreciation for breathtaking beauty.
